Contribute

Thank you for your donation!   Please note that because we use your donation to support political candidates and electoral activities, your contributions are not tax deductible even though they are highly valued.

The annual contribution limit  for individuals 18 or older to state political action committees such as ours under current Massachusetts General Law is $500 per calendar year.  We value contributions of all dollar amounts; please donate by check or credit card an amount that is meaningful to you. The minimum contribution we can accept by credit card is $5.

We ask for your email address so that we may send you a legally required receipt for your contribution. In the interest of accountability to our donors, we also send out an annual newsletter listing the organizations and candidates we supported in the past year.  If you would prefer to opt out of any further email communications, please check the appropriate box at the bottom of this page.

required info for compliance with campaign finance law
In the interest of public accountability and a more open government, MA state law requires us to keep of record of your full name, residential (voting) address, employer, and occupation, along with the dollar amount of your contribution. For contributions over $50, we must report this information along with the dollar amount of your donation to the MA Office of Campaign and Political Finance (OCPF), where it becomes a matter of public record.
We support public campaign financing and the public disclosure of large campaign contributions. That said, in the interests of protecting personal privacy from unnecessary intrusion, donors making total annual contributions of $50 or less have the option under state law of making anonymous contributions to political action committees and candidates.
